Congratulations Chicago White Sox

I don’t know what will happen in the world series but I am so happy for the Sox. The White Sox is the first sports team in Chicago I ever knew. I used lived less than a mile from the park and the Cell can be seen from my sister’s balcony. When I was young they used to give teachers ( my Dad) tickets to Sox games in May when sitting outside in Chicago day or night is tough. Since my elementary days I have been a White Sox fan. I as with so many of my fellow South Siders hate the Cubs on principle but I did cheer when they made the playoffs. This win though is for the south siders. This is for all the times the Sox were ignored this season, even though they had the best record for most of the season. This is the in your face answer to when a month ago everyone was writing the Sox off as dead. Which seemed to be the only time the Sox got any significant national press. This win is for the faithful fans whose devotion to the Sox is true and consistent. And most importantly the Sox beat the Cubs back to the Series.
